In 2006, I was diapering my daughter and she was such a heavy-wetter that nothing seemed to help her. Microfiber was brand new on the market, but it wasn't enough by itself. I was doubling every diaper for her with a microfiber insert on top and a hemp insert on the bottom.
Then I had my ah-ha moment. I created my own insert with microfiber to absorb quickly and hemp to lock it in. They worked great for my daughter and were an instant success with customers. Since then, we've switched to bamboo because it's trimmer and more absorbent, so today's LoopyDo inserts are the best yet!
Microfiber on top absorbs quickly while the bamboo inside locks in moisture. It's the best of both worlds! And they're sewn in a loop so they dry fast, usually in a single dryer cycle!
Instructions for use: slide into the pocket of a pocket diaper. When soiled, remove from pocket and place both insert and pocket diaper into the diaper pail. As with all microfiber products, this should not be used directly against the skin. Use inside a pocket diaper or cover with a fleece liner.
Washing instructions: Wash with your diapers or separately, whichever you prefer. Dry on any setting or hang to dry.
Bamboo: 70% bamboo, 30% cotton
Microfiber: 100% polyester
Made in China
Just for fun, take a look at some of my original LoopyDo inserts! My sewing machine couldn't handle so many layers of fabric, so the microfiber ended before the hemp, leaving 0.5" of hemp at the end for the final seam. And the yellow microfiber was cut from towels and had to be prewashed because it bled yellow dye so badly!
