Thump thump thumpity thump.
That's the sound of your clothes drying FASTER.
Using 6-8 wool balls in your dryer can help your clothes dry faster. The best balls weigh about 2 ounces each, and Bubble Gum Dryer Balls fill the bill.
How do wool dryer balls work?
As the clothing and balls tumble together in the dryer, the balls move around and aerate the laundry. The more air flow between layers, the faster things dry. Best air flow is achieved with at least 6 balls. We recommend 6-8. They last for years, so once you make the investment, you'll recoup the cost through faster dry times.
Do wool dryer balls really work?
We've experimented at our house over about 10 years and YES, they really do help. I find that a load of diapers will dry in about 45 minutes rather than the usual 60 in our dryer (times will vary depending on load size and dryer model).
Do kids love dryer balls?
Why yes, yes they do. That's the only drawback...you'll constantly be counting balls and finding the missing one in your toddler's hands. And they'll fight to "help" you do laundry so they can grab all the balls and run off giggling maniacally.
